4 Ways I Eat My Protein Pancakes
If you follow along on IG at all you know I eat pretty much the same few things for breakfast! One of those things is protein pancakes. They are filling, tasty and healthy. Of course variety is good, even if you eat the same thing over and over!
I’m sharing three ways I like to eat my protein pancakes.
First of all, I love Kodiak Cakes! I used to buy them on Amazon, because the only place I could find them here was Target, and they only sold one little box. But now, now BJ’s carries them too, so I just buy them there, in bulk of course.
I will just mix according to the directions and make myself a pancake! That’s the boring part. The fun part is what I put ON my pancakes! I love all of these ways, I’m not sure I have a favorite.
1- Praline Pecan Honey Butter from Georgia Peach World.
Guys!!! This stuff is amazeballs! One year coming back to NY from FL, we stopped at GPW. It was pure coincidence that we stopped there. I’m so glad we did! We went in, tasted a bunch of stuff and I came home with my first jar of this stuff! It tastes like a cinnamon roll! Sometimes I’ll spread it on a tortilla and roll it up, microwave it for a few seconds and eat it, again because it tastes like a cinnamon roll! So dang good!
So, I like to spread some of this on my protein pancake. Really, there are a bunch of butter spreads that would taste good. This one happens to be my favorite.
2- Peanut Butter and Mini Chocolate Chips
Best with a glass of milk, of course! You can’t go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate, even on a pancake! Plus the peanut butter adds some protein. :)
I love to spread that PB on right as I pull my pancake off the pan. It gets all melty. I use mini chocolate chips so they can get melty as well. The smaller ones melt faster. So good!
3- Honey and Butter
I guess you could just do a honey butter on your pancake. That may be good too. This topping is all about the honey though. Miller’s Honey to be even more specific! It is a UT company and honey. Every year my girlfriend Lynette sends me home stocked with this honey. It is so good! The creamy honey is TDF!!! It’s all about the honey!
4- Nutella with Raspberries
Nutella pancakes! Again with the melty situation! If you get the Nutella on it fast it’s gooey and good! I think, of course, strawberries would be delish with this too. Both raspberries and strawberries pair well with chocolate flavor.
