Cute Valentine Monsters

I am so excited to move forward into February!  We have some fun things planned in these next few months!  I enjoy February and I love Valentines Day!  Do you go into your kids classrooms for parties?

I like to, and usually sign up to help with something.  Since I have this Valentine craft in the vault I like to volunteer for the craft this time of year.

I'm going to show you how to make these cute Valentine Monsters.  They are easy enough that little kids can make them.

You will need foam sheets, scissors, pom poms (can make them, or use premade poms), google eyes, white glue or hot glue.

foam hearts cut out

First precut a bunch of hearts out of craft foam.  I chose this instead of paper because it is more durable.  I cut my foam into squares, then fold a square in half to cut my heart.

Next you will put some white glue, or low temp hot glue on your heart.  The two humps of the heart will be the monsters feet, so put the glue back towards the point of the heart.

Now you are ready to add your google eyes.  You can use one eye, three eyes, large and small, whatever you want!  It's a monster!

That is it!  They are easy to make!

You can put a little magnet on the back of these too.  They would be cute on a magnet board, or the fridge through February!
