Shopping Spree... the last for a while!

As previously noted... when my mom was here we did a lot of shopping... and I mean a lot!

I am a woman on a budget! I have new budget goals for this year... I'll have to tell you about that later...

Needless to say, and by judging below, my first few weeks of this year were a complete and utter failure as far as any of my goals went!!!

I blame it on my mom! She doesn't shop, I love to shop, it's such a great thing to do together! We have so much fun!

Tomorrow is always another day! I am recommitting!

My new goal is this: no new clothes, shoes, accessories for me until I save a certain dollar amount, or until June!

I am specific about that because I still will spend money on the kids needs and I have a few races I intend to purchase.

I am immensely blessed! I have so much! I need nothing! I have (small) closets packed, things tucked under beds, things I haven't worn for a while...

I can always find something cute! I can always find a good deal.

What I can't always do is practice self control! :)

This is my new goal!!!

When I'm feeling like I just need to buy something I'll come back to this post, and review my OOC buying binge, to remind me that I indeed have enough!

Wanted to wear my sassy black one's on Sunday and realized somehow I walked out with 2 right feet, major bummer! Had to go back and fix that!

Pants, super discounted from Gap, like $7 discounted! Those white ones with red flowers will be so cute for spring!

This was my ultimate moment shopping!

We walked into Banana Republic, I found these cute dresses, that were marked way down to $12 and $15. We got up to the register and they rang up with another 50% off! Hello! I paid $6 and $7 for these! They are adorable! It was thrilling! Orgasmic? Maybe this is why we shop! :)

I told the boy cashier that he surely didn't get it, but when my total was under $20 for this (and earrings) I got a jolt of adrenaline! That totally means I can spend more somewhere else right?
