I'm Thankful for Tradition... 30 Days of Thanks

It's tradition here at Perspective to write 5 things I'm thankful for... daily... during the month of November.

I'm not always perfect at the posting part, but I don't know, this year may be my year!
What do you say?  Wanna do it?  Comment and leave your blog address, I'll come to visit!

I'm thinking I want my kids to be in on this too.  It's fun to see how it changes from year to year, and from day to day.  I'll be creating a way to keep these all together this weekend.

Here are my 5 for today.

I'm thankful...
Fall Fun Night is over!  We don't go every year, this is G's last year in elementary school so I bit the bullet, bought tickets for all 4 kids and we went.  Ugh, it will take me another 2 years to recover!  I'm sorry, call me a horrible mother, but I don't love fall fun night and I'm so thankful it's over!

I'm thankful...
For pizza... really, there are some days when you've just gotta get pizza... from Campabellos... The kids love it, I don't have to cook, everyone wins!

I'm thankful...
For flannel sheets, particularly my orange one's that are so soft and cozy.  I'm so tired today, I can't wait to crawl in!

I'm thankful...
I started watching 'New Girl'.  I'm in season 2 and it just makes me laugh... really hard sometimes!  It's always good to find a TV show that just does it for you, you know?

I'm thankful...
For my Ensign, just sitting out.  I read while I ate today and I appreciated these words from this talk...
Peace is a gift. We don’t determine the conditions upon which this gift is given. Our Father in Heaven sets the terms. Sometimes we become so focused on our quest for peace that we forget it is one of the fruits of a righteous life. Our best course for finding peace is to live righteously—to keep our covenants. This is the only course that leads to that inner peace we all desire.
