April where have you gone?
We are now in May and I haven't recorded any happenings from April and even March. Oh, my.
I'll have to start small. It seems overwhelming. I find myself scrapbooking less and less, so I really need to keep my record here so we have some remembrance of these fleeting days.
MARCH
G learned to ride his 2 wheel bike... by himself. We took the wheels off of his mini bike (toddler bike) and I ran along side him for a while (that one day) as we practiced. I wanted him to learn on this bike because it is small and he feels like he can control it. We put it away and a few days later he wanted to try it. We started with him sitting on it and walking it, then trying to get his feet on the pedals, finding his balance. It didn't take him long to find it and he rode for the first time on the 24th. He rode for a few days before the chain fell off then we got out his big bike. It took just a little getting used to before he was off. It's his most favorite thing to do right now. He'll go outside and just ride for hours. He can only go next door unless I'm out there, so he's really enjoyed the couple of times he's been able to go for longer rides w/ M.
He looks so big on this tiny bike! I need to get a photo of him on his big bike.
