Picnic Pants and Co-Hosting Tre-Chic

Hi friends!

I'll let you in on a little secret/quirk/trait that I'm only partially proud of:
I am emotionally challenged if things don't go as I've planned them.

Many of us struggle with this, we all like when things go as planned, I know. And when it really counts, this is a great trait to have, it motivates you make plans right? But flexibility when things don't go as planned is also a great trait to acquire, if you don't already have it! Here is a specific...

I have planned certain days to post certain things here at Perspective.

It helps me organize the many things I do, it helps me work within guidelines so I don't go crazy!

You'd think, being the author of this blog, I'd have a little flexibility and be able to just post things at random, as I wish, it is my blog right?

If I miss a post on the day I've intended to post, it has to wait until the following week! Otherwise it would throw my 'schedule' off!

You'd think I'd have a whole backlog of things just piling up and waiting to be posted, because life often goes too fast and I just can't get to it. Those posts are there, they are just still in my head, waiting for their particular day! Heaven forbid I just sit down and spill what I'm thinking and hit 'post'!!!

Today is Thursday and I don't usually post WIW posts on this day.

I've waited to post until today.

Can I hear a round of applause for myself?

I am only partially paralyzed and anxious about how this throws my schedule off!

Today I'm showing you my $8 picnic pants!

I love them! Got them at Forever 21 and that $8 price is regular price! Crazy!
I chose to wear them with a worn out tee (Target) and my spring Converse (which I've also worn HERE). Cute!

I've also been sporting loose, easy pants as of late... frustrated that I'm working my tail off, only it's not getting any smaller! I'm just going for baggy at this point... I don't need the constant reminder that I'm just not there yet! Hopefully in a few weeks all my summer stuff will fit me nicely! (If I can stop eating the ice cream the hubs keeps bringing home!)
