Fun Run... All Week Long!

Having Lynette here just filled my soul right up.  I love her.
While out during the run photo'd above she cried because we saw deer right in front of us.  While out during the run photo'd below she cursed and swore at the dog that started barking at us!
I have known her all of my life, we are similar in many ways, and compliment each other in other ways.

Forgive me, I am camera phone illiterate!  I was later informed where to look so I don't look gimpy in every selfie!

I have always loved running, Lenni hasn't.
The summer before I went away to college we ran together a bit through the summer.
I ran the Ragnar with her back in 2010 and she was huffin and puffin.
This past year she has toooootally grown as a runner.  I am so impressed with her!
Now she is Speedy Gonzalas!

I needed this like you don't even know!
She works out every day.  I looked forward to that motivation, to get out and run more than 4 x/wk.  I was also a little afraid too, because of potential injury, given that my Achilles is still struggling.

I needed this like you don't even know!
I had a buddy to run with every single day!  It was so dreamy!  Each run was a treat.  We talked and laughed and the time flew right by.  I didn't care about my time at all.  No need.

Last week I posted about finding my footing again.
Someone commented that running does different things for us at different times in our lives.  We need it for different reasons at different times.  True story.

I need running, and I think it's time to ditch the solo running and find others with this passion that I can run with.  I'll look into that.  I'm craving that right now, more than I crave racing.

My goal was to run 6x.  I still only got out 4 times that week, but I did swim too...
They were here visiting so with sightseeing, my gosh, we walked a million miles!
