Our Family Lately... In Photos

Yahoooo!
I did it!  I completed my goal!  I now have a new marathon PR!
If you didn't catch it on FB click HERE.  I'd love for you to follow along!

I will write all about the Wineglass Marathon soon, but while I get that done...

October is here!  I am embracing it, to the tune of buying a hoard of pumpkins, hay bales and corn stalks today = embraced!  I rearranged my front porch and we are all 'falled' up!

I need to take pictures still.

Before September is too far off in my memory... here are some pictures of our life during the month...

We have been rocking our new 'work' system!
I'll tell you all about it.  This was another goal that has been achieved.
Here is my little 5 year old vacuuming the kitchen!

Although we are doing great with chores I am bewildered by this... I have a bin - RIGHT THERE - how can it be empty?  Not ONE pair of shoes has made it into the bin!  This just kills me!!!

There has been much tree climbing by all!
This year they have gone higher and farther... all of them!

The kids played in this crazy rain storm.  I love warm rain.

Matt and I went to lunch at Kabab and Curry for our anniversary lunch, then hit Paula's Doughnuts, our first time.  These things are crazy good!  They are huge!
We sampled a few too many!  The kids enjoyed the rest.

This kindergartner lost his first tooth, before his first grade brother.
I felt a little bad for O, he'd just asked me a week prior when he'd be losing teeth.

The tooth fairy brought him just a little bit of cash.
I'd like to let the world know I think it is insane to pay children more for their teeth than for their chores!!!  We do not!

This photo captures O's daily routine.  Right as he gets off the bus he drops everything and jumps on the tree swing.  Every. Single. Day.

Way back to Labor Day... Matt and I went on a 50 mile bike ride.  It was so fabulous!  We stopped for lunch on the way home.  It was fab riding over to Grand Island, to see parts of my surroundings on bike.  It was glorious!  Although the part where I had to ride my bike in {thismuchspace} at the top of the bridge freaked me out a little!
