There Is No Going Backwards... Run Better This Week

Last week my running sort of went kaput!  I actually didn't swim at all either.
I didn't hit my miles... it was a weird week with the 'blizzard', a home day, a photo shoot, sore muscles etc.
I wanted to run 13 on Saturday, but it just did not happen.  The stars didn't align and I didn't fight that.

Oh well, can't go back, forward only!  It's a new week.  I'll have to kick booty this week.
The temps are on the rise and that always puts a little pep in my step!
It has been so nice to have swimming in my schedule now, but there will be no way to get a run outside in with a swim... unless I take off from the JCC... maybe it could work... hmm.

Here is a quick look at my workouts from last week...
Monday: xtrain and aerobics at home, ballet
Tuesday: outside 6 miles
Wednesay: crazy snow storm... nothing
Thursday: 5 miles hill w/o on tml (see my running log for specifics on that)
Friday: 5 outside
Saturday: nothing

I bought these yesterday.  I need new shoes badly!

I am a Saucony girl.
I normally wear the Kinvara.  I love it!  Read this post for my conversion story!

Have you tried the Virrata?  I haven't!  I get nervous to try new shoes.  I can always feel it in my feet and in my body.  It takes a run or two for me to adjust.

One thing I know is (surely the dancer in me) I feel my feet.  I use my feet.  If they are off a little I feel it!  I don't like them feeling restricted in my running shoes.  This shoe seems like a good choice for that.
We'll soon see.

I like to have 2 pair of shoes... I buy one half a size larger for summer running, my feet swell more with long distance and the heat.  I want to try these before I buy my second pair.

I updated my running archives page.  Check it out!  It looks so pretty!
I plan to fix all of my archives to allow for easier searching.

What are you running today?
