The Morning Scramble... Aztec Leggings

Yesterday morning was crazy! 

We've had ridiculously cold weather here... we had a snow day on Tuesday and it was rumored we'd have one yesterday.

M checked the school website before he went to work.  He told us we had a snow day!  I turned off our alarms and we all woke up and had a slow morning. 

I sat down to send an email right as Q's bus went by! 

I was so confused!  I checked websites, now updated, made a call and sure enough, school was in session!

Nice!  Let the scramble begin!  Everyone get ready for school!

Q got ready turbo fast and I drove her over, we made it just in time.

I dropped off the boys and we all froze as we walked into school.

It ended up being worse yesterday than it was on Tuesday, should've been a snow day!

Today feels less cold, and the sun is shining so I won't complain.

I met my friend Katherine for breakfast, ran a couple of errands, then went to get my hair done.

That didn't go quite as I'd hoped.  I want my hair ombre.  I doesn't really look ombre.  I was a little disappointed seeing that my hair looks just the same as it did when I walked into the salon, except my roots are now lighter.  I'm going to get it fixed today.  I'm glad my girl offered.  She had to see what I see right?  Geez you pay enough it should look like you asked right?

So, hopefully I'll share the photo of my new hair color soon!  For now, enjoy a good look at my roots!

I've been looking for a black tunic sweater, to wear with a few pair of leggings.  I found this while shopping with my mom, of course!  I wasn't so sure about it.  I thought I wanted a more solid weave, but I now quite enjoy the texture on the front of this sweater.
