30 days of Thanks...

5 thanks for Tuesday...

- No expectations!  Although I like to keep my house clean, I feel free of expectations when Matt is out of town!  I've got Halloween décor coming down, kids card games out, school papers, shoes out of bins... you know what?  Today that is ok!!!

- The beautiful sunshine.  You may think this is silly, but here in the Buff there will be days that we see no sun.  You don't realize it until you do see it for 10 minutes!  It was so beautiful and sunny today!

- To sit and craft!  I do miss this!  Photography should be slowing down and in my imagination I see all of this time that I'll just be able to sit and create!

- Other motherly influences.  As I left Q standing there crying... because now she doesn't want to go to activity days, since I'm no longer the leader... I'm thankful for a Melissa, who I trust, to get her inside and love her.  We need other motherly influences around us.  We don't always hear our own mothers!

- Storage totes!  Really, they make my life so great!  I have so much 'stuff', yet I can find peace as I neatly organize it all with storage totes!

5 thanks for Wednesday...

- Imaginative play.  I love that E will go into his own world and play!  I think it is so good for their minds.  I love listening to him upstairs talking in different voices and solving problems.  It's so good for him!

- Hot showers.  I've been running before the kids get home from school and I usually finish right before they come home, then I have to go pick E up from school.  And today I had to go get G at the school after that!  I was freezing by the time we got home!  I am thankful for a nice HOT shower!

- To finally have the laundry done!  I usually knock it out on Monday's, but here we are at Wednesday and I'm just getting it done!  I have to just knock it all out... I don't like having constant batches to do.  Do it and be done!

- Penny prints from Snapfish!  Seriously.  A penny?  That means I don't even have to go through and throw out the garbage shots... which I've been meaning to do for years!  I can just print them all!!!

- For great neighbors!  I really live on such a great street and if I didn't dislike my house so much I'd stay here forever!  The last 2 days G has been with the boys on the street playing football and hockey.  Q has friends.  I can call people when I need them.  We trick or treat together, we go caroling together, we walk to school together.  I love my street!
