Love Tuesdays

I have come to love Tuesday mornings!
I have a hot date planned each week during preschool time with my girl Marci!
We like to pump energy back into the economy via shopping!
We meet for a bagel some mornings, other mornings we just get right down to business!
Either way it's a couple of hours filled with good laughs and fabulous finds!
Last week we went to Hobby Lobby and had ourselves a hay day since they were just marking some stuff down to 90% off! Hello! I got some great frames, a silver/red platter, a cute little photo box, a gargantuan candle and this hot little number...

That huge painting cost me all of $20! Ya, I know! Crazy! Right now this room is Matt's office, but after we finish 'the room' in the basement for me, and move him into my office, this will be a dining room again. This guy is a great addition to the room and will be a great focal point when we move stuff all around in there. $20 can you believe it?

Today we hit the shopping again, I brought home a ton of stuff from Old Navy for a song! Just what I needed! I love it when I'm out to find stuff and there is plenty to go around!

Anyway, love Tuesday's with Marci! She is fabulous and we sure do love shopping!

Just a little side note...
Last week after our shopping trip I was inspired and finally got my front room finished, decorated! Since we'd moved stuff around and changed colors, and found rugs, I haven't been able to complete it all, a little uninspired. Last week put a shot in my arm and I went crazy! In fact, I must give much credit to the 'nesting syndrome' because I just want to get my house all settled before this baby comes! After getting my room done I vacuumed my whole house, worked on the study, hung stuff in Q's room and the boys room. I was a wild woman! The unbelievable part was I was still sick and really should've been laying down, but that nesting drug took hold and I went with it!

I paid for it Wednesday and was even more sick and tired! But I was happy to have gotten so much accomplished. That has rippled on. I have finished many a project that have been on 'the list' for a while.

I got these flowers a year ago... just finished them for Q's room.

I got this frame at HL for $7 (another 90% 0ff), spray painted it and framed the canvas I made for our room over a year ago.

I have been working on this bench I bought at a yard sale a long time ago. I still need to make a pillow for it, but it's nice to have that almost done.

I am working on another very large painting that I bought for $1. I'm going to alter it and put my photography in there.

I have been scrapping.
Here are a couple of pages I've photographed...

This has actually been a bit consuming! I'm telling you it's nice to have it back! I hope it doesn't leave when I have the baby! I've knocked out a bunch of pages! The best part is Q is all about this right now. She has her photos and paper and is as pleased as punch when she gets to use my stuff! I normally don't share, because she normally just does art work that gets tossed. As long as she is making a page that we are going to keep, I'm all about sharing! I got these albums at Target (dollar spot) and she has been going to town! It is so fun to craft with my girl next to me! It's how we bond! So she and I have spent many an hour in the craft room this past week. It's been great for both of us!

As far as baby news... I have none!
Last week I was at a whoppin' 1!!!
I have another apt. on Thursday. We'll see.
I wonder how many days OVER I will go!
I have dance tomorrow, since I'm over my sickness I'll probably dance. I may have this baby on time yet!
