Hello lover...

With it being Fathers Day yesterday you may think I'm speaking of my husband... but no! I feel a little bit like Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) looking at her brand new pair of Jimmy Choo's. Hello lover!
I ran in my new shoes today. I love them! They feel so good I can't believe I waited so long to get a good pair of running shoes! I don't think I'll be able to run a marathon this fall... and enjoy it... so I'm planning on running a half in September. Haley I'm thinking about the one in Rochester 9/14. Do you want to run it with me? We can finally race together!! Maybe next spring we can marathon together.

This is the month of dance recitals! Busy!
Two weeks ago I went with my cute friend Christy to the DDM show.

I enjoyed it. I don't know if time would permit for me to teach there too, but I would really enjoy working with those talented dancers. (This is the studio Neal, from So You Think You Can Dance, danced at.)
Saturday Damita and I went to the Dance Project show.

It is always good. Each studio has something they are stronger at. I enjoyed it more this year than I have the past two. Love this girl! She makes me laugh!
This week Center Stage begins it's shows. I'm not dancing in it this year (baby), but have three pieces in it and Q will also be performing. I am so excited! It is odd not being in there as much and knowing what is going on. I'll be glad to be back onstage next year.
Let the dancing begin!

And, to my other lover, doubt not, he is better than shoes!
Happy Father's Day.
We had such fun giving Matt our gifts yesterday. While I was talking to the kids about what we should get him G said the most thoughtful thing. "Hmmm, we should get him new work pants". I thought he was talking about pants that maybe he could do yard work in. G clarified, "No he needs new work pants since his others have a hole." Insert funny story about Matt climbing into a tiny car and splitting his pants OPEN right in the middle of a work day, in which he had many meetings he needed to attend! Oh dear! Anyway, G totally remembered and wanted to replace his pants. How thoughtful and cute! Q made Matt this little flower pot, totally creative. Her little Barbie umbrella stands upside down and she clipped a flower on top!

We also got him puzzles, new sandals, jammy pants and a much needed ankle brace.
Matt spent much of his 'special day' working hard outside. Gotta love Father's Day!
