Rotting Gums, New Photography & Rings

Well, I went to the dentist today... apparently my gums are rotting!
That feels good right?

I've had a whole big ordeal with the dentist for the past few years.  I was going to this guy and I've had nothing but problems, like 6 months after a filling, that needed an update... the filling would fall out.  Seriously this happened like 4 times!  One would chip, one would fall out.  There are dark spots around the one he's done... you get it right?

I'd become that nasty lady who comes in and complains because she doesn't like the work that's being done.  The 'big B' word lady!

No one likes being that lady do they?

I'm sure they'd say to each other... prepare yourself... that lady is coming in today!

But, really is it too much to ask that these fillings you are putting in last more than a couple of years?  I mean, the ugly silver ones that were put in when I was 10 are still going strong!

It's not like I eat rocks!

Why don't you just go somewhere else?  Why don't I?

My whole family goes there... I love the hygienist.  I was just dealin'.

Until this last filling came loose!  That was it!  It was time for me to stop complaining and go somewhere else... but where, where do you go so fillings don't fall out!?

Your answer is probably ANYWHERE else!  PS, Matt had gotten work done and had no problems...

Then I got the mailer for Dr. McCarthy, with a $100 coupon!  Giddyup!  That is my dentist!

I had a good feeling, then went in... I was totally impressed!  It is a one dentist shop, Dr. McCarthy is great!  After the xrays, she stuck a camera in my mouth and we talked about the crappy work done on each tooth!  Sweeeeeeet!

My most urgent need was the large filling that was about to pop off my tooth!  She fixed that, it looks great!

Then, there are my gums... oh heavens... I have pareodontal disease!  Not bad, but I do!

You must think I never brush my teeth, but I do, 2x a day, and I floss at least 1x a day!  I couldn't say that 7 years ago, but I have been a rockstar for the last 5-7 years... promise!

Then why, why the rotting gums?  When you do all you can and it isn't helping at all, why do you do it?

ANYWAY, today I went in for a deep cleaning, scraping, where they pull the gums back and get any infection out.

Doesn't that sound lovely to you?  Thought so!

AND, I'm going to show you some new rings that will go up at my store tonight!  LOVE them!

These rings are zinc alloy.  The are so light they feel like plastic.  But, indeed they are metal.
The gold is nice and shiny, the black is matte.
