My Birthday Away/At Home...

We leave to head home tomorrow!  Yea!
I'm excited to be in my kitchen, to sleep in my bed, to be on MY computer, to work on projects...
NY is home, although many of the people that create that home feeling live here in UT.

Today is my birthday!  Yah baby!  I'm 36!  It's the first birthday I've spent in UT for a good 10 years.
We are having a McAfee get together tonight, I'm taking some pics of my fam, and I'm packing, vacuuming the van...

I wondered if the hubbs had anything planned, since most of the day is extended family time.  If he didn't have anything I was going to head on up to SL Running Co and grab myself a Garmin.  It's about time don't you think?

He surprised me first thing this morning.  He and the kids sang to me and I opened my gift.  Wouldn't you know, he got me a Garmin.  Nailed it!  That is a good birthday gift!  Why does it make the gift 100x better if your significant other gets you the thing you would've gotten yourself?

Go ahead, wish me a happy birthday, it will make me feel so great on this 'normal feeling' day! :)

I have a bunch to catch up on with our trip, but I'm tired of waiting for these images to load.  It will be nice to get home and have all of my software to help expedite the process of blogging!

I will leave you with just one highlight for me from these last couple of vacation weeks.

Water skiing.  It has been a few years since I've been out.  That was my #1 desire while boating with my family, once I realized we had a ski, that is!  Got right up, tore it up, had a good crash, got up again... loved every minute!  The water was smooooth!

I'd have gone longer, but my forearms couldn't take it.  I guess I need to add that to my workouts right?  Watch for that on Monday's.  :)

Next week I'll be back to finish our trip.  I've got to blog it for our family.  It may be a good idea to just do a vacation book, maybe next year.  I know I won't scrapbook it... It's just not fast enough these days!

Thanks for stopping by...
Happy Friday to YOU!!!
