Little Black, Little Fuchsia, with Preppy!

So far this week...
I've had to hold myself back a bit as I unpack all of my stuff, coupled with new stuff.
I'm itching to switch my closet over to fall.  I want to pack away all of the summer stuff I've been wearing while in UT.  It still is warm though, not complaining, I'll need to wait a few weeks.

What about you?  When do you switch your wardrobe to fall?  No need to rush the summer weather away right?

We got home late on Saturday.  I went to bed at 2am eastern, then got up at 8 am eastern.  My kids slept until I got them up at 9.  We have church at 10 am, so we were all in a rush to get ready.

Enter the little black dress.  Hardly a thought, hardly an effort... perfect!  I added a splash of color with my red necklace, and was happy to slip into my sparkly sandals!

This week I've been excited to wear things I haven't worn yet this summer, before summer is gone.  Are you a crazy like me, and feel like you have to give your clothes 'turns'?  I often tell my kids to hang their shirts in a specific order so all of them can have a turn!

This little dress will transition into fall too.  I got this baby for $3 at Marshalls last year.  Score!  I paired it with a skinny yellow belt and wore flat sandals during the day and my heels in the evening.  I love the retro look of this little dress.

Also this week I went for a more preppy look.  This is a first for this little combo.  I usually pair these shorts with a gray or brown.  This week I went with navy.  When I wear this shirt people ask me if I row... I wish I did, but no!  At least they think I do!!!  Some simple canvas shoes complete the look.  I even went with clean, simple hair and earrings.
