Good News and Bad News

Saturday was a nice day!!!  The sun was shining and temps were spring-like!
I specifically waited until later to go running.  So I could feel the sun on my face!
Those are good runs.

We went to hunt for Easter Eggs, at our church, in the morning.
Matt was taking G to baseball practice from there.  It was the first of the season!

I took the other 3 kids on a couple of errands then home.

The boys were there when we arrived.
Cleats were on the floor as I came in.

Matt came down and said, 'Well that was the shortest practice ever.'
G was still upstairs.

They'd been warming up for a bit.  I guess he didn't know they were switching it up.
He was standing on 2nd and someone threw a ball to him.

He didn't realize that, and so he was a little too slow to get his mitt up to his face...

The bad news is he got hit in the face... his tooth is chipped, his lip is cut.

'The good news is you get to go on your run sooner!'
The hubbs is so positive!

G will be very upset when he sees I've posted this picture of him.  I made a deal w/ him, he could stay home from church if I could take a picture!  He's pretty embarrassed, not about his tooth, about his fat lip!  He'll be fine when his lip is back to normal.

The good news, yes is that I got to go running sooner!
Even better, I put on my shorts for the first time this season.

Bad news, my butt and legs are carrying a little more 'fluff' than I like!
Good news, I got some color on those legs!

I ran 10 miles 1:19 (7:54).  I could see my time was fine, but I felt like I was running through water the whole run!  It took me some time to warm up, but my legs felt slow on Saturday.

The good?  I ran again today.
The bad?  It was a really hard work out!  Well, not the work out... nothing out of the norm, but it felt hard today.

Some days are just hard, but you run anyway!
It could be all the crap I ate yesterday, staying up way too late.  Yes, it could be that!
Oh, well, run anyway!

Are you running any races soon?  I need to sign up for a half marathon.
What do you do to get through a hard workout?

I'm sure you've all heard about the changes with Google reader shutting it down!

The bad news is there is change around the corner.  We don't get to see the cute faces following us on GFC.

The good news is Bloglovin' has made it easy to transfer all of the blogs you follow via GFC right into Blovin'

It takes you to a screen that looks like this...

Click on that baby and bam... all of the blogs you follow now accessible via blovin'.

I actually really like the format of Bloglovin'.  I think it's clean, it's easy to see your daily feed.
Did you know you can also categorize the blogs you follow?
Take a look at the left sidebar, you can categorize who and what you follow!
One day check out the crafting, one day the fashion, one day your buddies etc.

For someone like myself that follows many a blogger this is handy...
A peek at mine, still organizing.

So, go upload your stuff!  That way you'll still be here when all this change goes down!
