Not too far off...

The 4th wasn't THAT far back was it?
We had a great weekend full of socailizing. Saturday morning Matt went golfing, he and Shawn have been heading out early and get back early too. It's nice, I can still get a long run in before it gets too hot. We had a great time after I got back from my run. The kids were all in the back, M was playing soccer w/ them. They asked to get in the baby pool so we put some water in for them. They got in their suits and sat in the water and played. I layed in the sun for a minute and next thing I knew had water all over me! It turned into a water fight. We laughed so hard! Q kept chasing me trying to hit 'the target'! We even got M a bit before he retreated inside. Next, the tramp to dry off. We had fun making shapes w/ our shadows. Loved that time together w/ my big kids.
We spent the day working and relaxing. I've been reworking some furniture. I'll post picts over here soon. I had a photo shoot scheduled for that evening but it got canceled. We relaxed at home instead.
On Sunday we BBQ'd at the Chiapelli's w/ the Damsteads and Brinton's. It was good times, minus O biting baby M. What the crap was that? He hasn't done it since, sometimes the devil just comes out in him! We visited and watched E's magic tricks and of course ate. The plan was to go to UB to watch fireworks. We puttered out! We faced the crowd last year w/ the Preece's and weren't feeling up to it this year. Instead I put the boys down and enjoyed alone time while M took the big kids to see the country club fireworks. They were getting eaten by mosquito's so they ended up going near UB to see the show. G appreciated the show. Q just wanted to go home and cried much of the time! She was tired!
Monday we went to the Wright's in the morning. They are moving soon and we were invited to one last hurah at their place. This time M stayed home w/ the boys and I took the big kids. They have a pool and it's easier to keep the little babies out if they aren't there! It was pretty exciting, I jumped in to save G who had bounced out too far. It was a little scary, but he recovered easily and swam smart the rest of the time. He has turned into quite the fish. He used to be so scared of the water, now he is the very last person to get out... after I've asked him several times!
Later we went to the Christensen's for a BBQ. Nope, not one photo of the whole weekend! Oh well! We always have a great time. The kids played in the water and we sat inside until it cooled off a bit then chatted outside. Good food and friends always equals good times.
