Review

Whew, can't believe it's been a week!

Let's review...

Monday... headed to Rochester to visit the Ormsby's. It's been a long time since we've seen each other. The kids had such a great time playing. G told me, as we were leaving, he wished we lived there! The granite guy was supposed to come, but he called in sick. Nice!

Tuesday... I had no plans. I called Marci and she reminded me of the stamp party! I went. I'm glad! I had so much fun! It was great to get out!

Wednesday... I had a photo shoot. Love the N family. They were one of my first as I was getting started.

Thursday... We headed to Olcott beach... and we came home. We decided that day we are going to wait until Jan 2010 to go to Disney World. Hopefully my kids will be a little more into rides at that time! That night Marci and I went school shopping at the outlets. Apparently I'm going back to school because I found many things for myself, not so much for my kids!

Friday... C's called for surprise date night!!! Too bad M felt so yuck. We still took advantage and got take out and vegged. We watched 'Freedom Writers' and really liked it, as well as our quiet house! This was also the day I got an email from a friend wishing me an early happy birthday! I thought a whole week was very thorough... then I looked at my calendar... three times! Yep, totally didn't realize my birthday would be on Saturday! Oh, heaven help me! I did call M to make sure he knew. He's all about the numbers! Why didn't he tell me?

Saturday... Q went to a birthday party, I spent the afternoon at the dance studio for open house, where I had the best white pizza EVER from Johnnys! Yum! That night we got a sitter for our kids and went out with the Preece's. MUCH FUN! We went to Wasabi so M & M could have sushi. I'm SO not into that. A even tried it. Not me! Too afraid of the gag reflex right now! I went with good ol' chicken! We headed back and played a nice competitive game of scrabble, where I went ahead and dropped a whole load of points with 'audition'. Too bad I couldn't keep the run! A was the champ! Ohhhhh, and we laughed, which we LOVE to do! There will be more of these to come!

Which brings us to this week. Hello!

I'll go ahead and stop writing and leave with some photos from our trip to MI.

Sunday
This is the one and only 'tridge'. The only in our nation, right in cute Midland.

Cute Zozee keeping warm in the stroller.

Pretty flower

We drove through Detroit. M saw EDS, who he used to work for. That was an interesting hour. We couldn't quite find our way out of the city, which is quite scary, due to construction. As we were driving around we saw such a crazy sight, that you seem to only see on TV. It was sad.

Monday
We hit the Cincinnati zoo. Man it is huge! We had a great time!
Very cool seeing a bald eagle up close.

Cute monkey

The kids were all about the butterfly exhibit where they could spot the butterflies and even touch some. THEY LOVED IT!

The animals here were more active than our zoo here in Buffalo. Going to the zoo is much more fun when the animals do more than lay there!

The kids walked the whole time and didn't complain, and we walked ALOT! They were nice and tired for the rest of our drive home!
