Much to do!

Well, I didn't post yesterday. I had every intention to.

I taught a group of youth to foxtrot last night. Although I haven't shouted that much since my cheerleading days, I still had a good time! I think they did too. I met a wonderful new woman! Can't wait to get to know her better. I love making friends!

I got to talk to Lynette yesterday. Somethings just never die, like my love for her! She's such a hoot, always making me laugh. Love you my friend! I can't wait to get together this month!

We had some trauma yesterday as we were doing some shopping. I had to go, have to leave the hubby with some goods while I'm gone. Little G was awful. The pain wears off, and I remember that I bought these fabulous shoes for this weekend and life is good again!

I finished painting the edges in the kitchen today, took the paint downstairs, feels good.

I visited my friend Nancy today. She went to the Dr on Monday and they couldn't find a heartbeat. I wanted to be a good friend.

I called to get Matt a babysitter for Friday, so he can go to his work party.

I need to pack, pick up my car, totally get my hair done (I need a trim in the worst way), put together my scrap stuff and watch AI tonight.

Here are some photos of our entry way. Again, it's not completely done, but you get the idea of how it's changed.

Journaling for today:
Who was your first 'crush'? What did he or she look like?
The first one that I remember was Jimmy Lewis, in the first grade. He was a 'bad boy' and a grade or two older than me. I have no idea how I met or knew him. It may have been through his brother Wrex that was my age. Anyway, we were totally boyfriend and girlfriend! From like first grade through sixth! Ha, so funny! I never talked to him or saw him, but we totally went out because I SO checked the 'yes' box and we never officially 'broke up'!

So funny going back to that time. I remember a red-headed boy in my class named Joe that always tried to kiss me. I was feisty and I told the teacher. She told me if he did it again I had her permission to hit him... and I did, several times!

I have many memories from the first grade. I will take the time and write them, but not today!
